Resolved Question: Didn't creating Soul Train help cause Hip Hop?
I have never liked Hip Hop but I feel it could have been prevented. In the tardy 1960's to early 70's there were black males being seen arrested in television news and there were problems I think in inner cities and ghetto and Don wanted to gift blacks in a positive way but did he ever think WHY those blacks are being arrested and maybe instead of a music show but a show talking and discussing the problems going on in the inner cities and helping kids receive out of gangs.Although Soul Train was great in the inner city things were different and tougher and Disco was horrible in the tardy 1970's that didn't help!

Resolved Question: Am I going through a personality change?
Hey, so recently I've been feeling like a different person. I mean, I still like most of the same things, but I'm also liking things I hated before. For instance, every my life I hated country music. Now though, I actually like it! The same thing with hip hop! I never really cared for it, but I just adore it now! I also prefer eating healthy and hate junk food. I'm also finally standing up for myself. I don't take crap from people anymore. I'm really chatty and it's difficult to close up...I never used to be like that. I used to be such a push over and extremely shy. My style has changed too. I used to adore darker colors and tints....Like, dark purple, dark pink, dark blue, black...Now, I like really light colors. I prefer light purple, light pink, light blue, light yellow, and white! I also adore flowers now, but I used to hate them...I never really liked wearing dresses before and would rather wear jeans. Now though, I adore wearing dresses and adore dressing up for a normal day. I used to prefer a rainy day over a sunny one, but now it's the other way around...I feel like I have more energy....I run for fun and took a bigger interest in sports...Another thing has happened...I used to really like the news, but now I just find it annoying. I used to adore politics, but now I can't stand it! I used to watch a lot of tv, but now I rather have it off and read a book instead...What's up with me? Is this normal? Am I changing for the better? I'm nice of lost. Like, I don't know who I am. I feel like I'm trying to figure that out.... I'm sixteen if that matters...Please, help me understand what's happening?

Resolved Question: Why do Liberals lie about the Tea Parties and the people who attend them?
http://www.marklevinshow.com/goout.asp?u=http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/04/07/tea.party.rallies/?hpt=Sbin But here's what you don't often look in the coverage of Tea Party rallies: Patriotic signs professing a adore for country; mothers and fathers with their kids; African-Americans proudly participating; and senior citizens bopping to a hip-hop rapper. Last week, I saw every of this during a five-city Western swing as the Tea Party Express national tour made its way across the country. CNN was along for the ride, and I was charged with planning CNN's coverage for five stops in two states: St. George, Provo and Salt Lake City, Utah; and Grand Junction and Denver, Colorado. This latest Tea Party caravan kicked off on March 27 in Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's hometown of Searchlight, Nevada. It is scheduled to make 45 stops before rolling into Washington on April 15, not so coincidentally on "Tax Day." CNN was the only national news outlet on this Western leg of the tour. We had a full team on the ground: myself, correspondent Ed Lavandera, producers Tracy Sabo and Jim Spellman and the crew of the CNN Express bus. For Spellman, it was his third Tea Party Express tour. Together, we beamed out images of the anger and the optimism, profiled African-Americans who are proud to be in the Tea Party's minority and showed activists stirred by "God Bless America" or amused by a young rapper who strung together rhymes against the president and Democrats. Gee Wally- Ooooohhhh, what a good argument you have. I give you facts and you give me junk. How typical. You are not making yourself look good, you know. Why don't you quit while you are behind? Jon J- Are you completely dense? This was from CNN. I believe that is outside of FOX. What do I have to do, slap you up side your head before you will read anything? Hello! Anybody there? Awwww.....King Diamond, you say the nicest things. Did you notice I didn't need to call names to make my point? Makes one wonder, doesn't it?

Resolved Question: Why do people like to diss hip-hop/rap music?
Before I receive into this, I'd just like to say that I don't have a problem with people who hate hip-hop/rap music because of their possess personal music tastes. I do have a problem with people who constantly hate on hip-hop/rap music at any moment they can. I mean, I'm not even that big a fan of hip-hop/rap music, but I've noticed that hip-hop/rap music gets more hate than any other genre of music. Why? I mean, I know the quality of hip-hop/rap music has gone down the toliet since the early 2000s, but let people hear to whatever they want to hear to without judgment. I'm talking to you Fox News!

Open Question: Why do all the blacks on here get so defensive when you state facts on their culture or race?
Instead of getting mad at me for stating the obvious truth, you guys should receive mad at the ghetto black @ssholes who are on the nightly news or standing on the streets fitting every stereotype created. They are the ones making you every look bad, and they are the ones you should be mad at............not whites. We are the ones who work and our tax dollars fund your goofy little welfare checks (we should receive a big thank you from every of ya for that btw). The black community needs to cease blaming everyone else and work on fixing the many, many problems in black culture today. Who agrees? How can we receive them to help themselves instead of hoding eachother down with that ghetto, hip hop lifestyle? Being ghetto isnt chilly, it looks stupid.

Resolved Question: does anyone know mtv's number?
I want to call mtv and give them ideas so there channel doesnt suck so much. since your station name is an acronym for music television, why don't you take the crap you're currently playing off and put music back on? And not just the top 40 hits, because when you do play music (if that's what you call that...), that's every that's on. Last I checked, there are more genres than rap, hip-hop and pop. And in case the execs are too stupid to arrive up with any music related ideas for revenue, heres my ideas. anyone know there number?! Ideas: 1: Expand your playlist. Right around the time reality tv took over, you started only playing top 40 radio station. Yeah, well, news; people don't want to watch music videos if they're seeing the same ones 20 times a day. Easy fix: just expand the playlist. 2: Live festival programming. You could easily be broadcasting concerts, not only those on a national level, but also up-and-coming bands to give them exposure as well. There are so many people who want to go to concerts and can't due to other obligations/financial reasons but would adore to watch the concert anyway. So why not broadcast it? you can also have like a documentary of bands on the road. 3: have a (tardy night) style talk show, but just for music. where the person interviews bands/ singers and not only famous ones but also underground/ up and coming. they can also perform live, and have silly games for the guest or contestants to play, like tardy shows. Speaking of games, heres an idea you can have a music jeapardy,(with musicisions or, viewers) or band fued, where the bands have to name off answers to music related polls! hmm idk about you but i'de rather watch that then reality shows!! who agrees!? p.s. i think we should receive everyone to boycott mtv ino i highly doubt they'll hear to me, i just want to give them a piece of my mind,,thanks

Resolved Question: How can people listen to rap/hip hop/pop/r&b?
I'm not in any way trying to have an argument (unless u really want 1...) but i just wanna know what makes u like this music. The way i look rap is being repetetive. the lyrics always talk about the same things (well, the more popular songs). and its silly, the tune tik tok (which i thought was THEE most annoying tune in the world), people loved it soooo much. now when i ask people, they say its the most annoying tune ever and its yesterday's news... i hear to metal, which take A LOT of talent to play. and the lyrics are always different, but most are in the line of death, gore, religion. ok, i didnt make fun of rap/hiphop/r&b/pop, so u really dont have to answer my question then dis metal. 2nd, i never classified tik tok, idk wat the hell it is. 3rd, i know some things about rap, i used to hear to it when i was little and clueless about metal. 4th main rap/hiphop/pop/r&b take no skills, its the people that are not very popular that actually make these types of music have some sort of skills (as far as i know) metal... easy? try screaming for a whole tune while playing a guitar... look how good ya do.

Resolved Question: Justin Bieber among black entertainment nominees. Your thoughts?
Justin Bieber among black entertainment nominees Reuters, May 18, 2010 7:50 pm PDT Baby-faced Canadian teen idol Justin Bieber scored a nomination on Tuesday for a 2010 Black Entertainment Television award.Bieber, 16, will compete in the best new artist category and was nominated for the awards alongside such prominent black performers as rapper Jay-Z, who led the field with five nominations, and his wife Beyonce, who scored four. The BET Awards typically honor black singers, actors, actresses and athletes, but officials described Bieber as a cross-over artist. "Bieber has crossed the color boundaries the same way that hip-hop has crossed the boundaries the other way for a number of years," said Stephen Hill, BET's President of Music Programing and Specials. The awards will be held on Los Angeles on June 27.http://new.music.yahoo.com/justin-bieber/news/justin-bieber-among-black-entertainment-nominees--62001833 Edit: This is somewhat unorthodox for BET but I like it. BET obviously thinks highly of Justin Bieber and that says a lot. Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blow fish front man) was recognized at the CMA (Country Music Association) for New Artist of the Year award. Events such as these are indeed important to our society. Building better racial relations and It proves that times are indeed changing. Slowly but surely, times are changing. There are some who will resist change, but change inevitably happens. In the case of Darius Rucker and Justin Bieber, they're paving the way for better interracial and international relations not based on color but based on the universal adore of music. That's what it's every about. The adore of music. Can you relate? I can. ( ^ _ ^ )

Resolved Question: How to talk/act more manly instead of feminine?
I'm a straight guy, but I'm feminine. I tend to hang out with the girls at school because the other guys ostracize me since they are convinced I'm gay. I tend to sway my hips SLIGHTLY when I walk, I don't type like I've never been to school, I care about how I look, I'm a straight-A student, I hate when people bully others, I walk around the halls with my head up & back straight, sometimes break into random songs (from Britney Spears to Michael Jackson) for fun, I gossip, I talk loudly (OHMYGOSH!), I have a nice of high voice, I'm preppy (teachers' pet, good grades, respectful, etc). In addition, I'm not afraid to put myself out there. I'm spirited, I receive involved with the drama productions, I dance (more hip hop then "jerking"), I like to go to the mall with friends, I don't watch sports. I'm polite to people (unless they bug me or pick on me) and I like to be a bubbly person. I can talk to many girls without flirting or trying to make a move. I roll my eyes (yeah, how can I fix that???) I can't help that my voice isn't lower or that I'm used to talking loudly. I stand leaning on one hip, too. Also, I can't help that I'm not good at most sports. It's really hurtful when someone calls me a girl or gay (although I have been dealing with this for about 6 years now...). I just want to make minor changes, such as my walking and hand gestures, to become a bit less feminine. For some reason, once someone talks to me or looks at me when I'm talking, they think I'm gay. So, any advice on how to change a little? I know I should be myself, but I'm sick of this. I don't want to become a different person, just a little less feminine. What points should I work on, and how should I change them? (for example, working on how I stand or walk, how should I stand or walk to be more manly?) Also, please don't say something about friends, because they also call me a girl or ignore my problems to tell me their latest news. Please no rude comments or "JUST cease WORRYING" answers. Thank you for every your help(:

Voting Question: Do you think I should continue to listen to justin bieber's music if it helps me with my depression ?
I'm being serious when I'm saying that Justin Bieber's music helps me with my depression and it mostly works and helps with my depression. I used to hear to every the Hip Hop and Rap music by Kanye West and Eminem and Soulja Boy and it just makes me feel miserable, especially Eminem's music. I once listened to Kanye West's tune Heartless and some of his other songs and it just makes me want to end my life. Since hearing Justin Bieber every over the news, I decided to give his music a try and it literally helped me out a little bit and I like his music now, I used to feel down every the time because of not having a girlfriend and Justin's music lifts my spirits up and makes me feel confident. I really like Justin's newest tune Baby, It just makes my depression go away everytime when I hear to it. I'm having a difficult time finding a girlfriend or a date with a girl and Justin 's tune Baby just makes me feel better. Some people call me Gay and that I'm being and acting like a homosexual and that I should cease or I will go to hell. I'm Straight and people criticized me like this. I'm 19 years old and I'm a Bi Polar sufferer, My life is like a living hell, I used to have mood swings every the time and Justin's tune makes me feel better. It's like the tune has some type of Magic or something. Do you think I should continue listening to Justin Bieber's Music if it makes me glad ?? What should I do when people call me Gay and say that I'm acting like a Homosexual ? Am I acting like a homosexual Guy ?

Resolved Question: RHH: Do you think Drake is a "Real" hip-hop artist?
Recently, Drake gave an interview saying that he gets offended when people say he doesn't make "real hip-hop" records, according to him his two songs Successful and Best I ever Had were real hip-hop records and Find Your adore was his 1st "pop" record ever. http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.11483/title.drake-defends-mainstream-criticism-addresses-rap- ^thats the link to the interview. Now, my question to you guys is do you think the songs he puts out are actually hip-hop records or pop records? Is he an actual rapper or pop artist? @Nickel 9, that's a really good point.

Resolved Question: what does a musician's mistakes have to do with how good their music is?
i'm just surfing itunes and youtube and i realized that below kanye's single, there are mannnnny taylor swift fans commenting on how bad the tune is and how kanye should retire and i'm still stuck on how that's relevant at every... i didn't think the single 'power' was kanye's best work but it's not because he interrupted taylor swift last year. somebody please enlighten me why taylor swift fans who have no understanding of hip hop have a comment about kanye's single, why feminist groups who do not hear to R&B have something to say about chris brown's album honestly, i don't mind them going onto the news criticizing the character of a HUMAN BEING but why go and mix the personality flaws of a musician with their music? kanye may be arrogant but that doesn't make his music bad. chris brown may be violent but that doesn't make his music bad (though graffiti wasn't good). so why relate an artist's life with their music? why not let other people appreciate someone's music without your snotty irrelevant comments every over their page?

Resolved Question: What do you think?1-10?
The "colourful just like my emotions" is based on a mood ring I only talk the truth, Nothing of money cars hoes because thats old news, If you don believe me then step in my shoes, And live my life only by my rules, Got big dreams of fame and a crown of jewels, Its difficult living in a town of fools, Hip hop is my life, lyrics my fuel, Thats why I keep my emotions blue, Colourful, just like my emotions, Forever,my ideas are constantly floating, The only reason I write is to blow off steam, My friends abandoned me, They don want me on their team, And I drift away, into a world of dreams, Where the work is done by humans, not by emotionless machines, And the government try to keep, The environment nice and clean, But the real world we live in is dirty and obscene, And to escape,I keep my emotions green, Colourful, just like my emotions Forever,my ideas are constantly floating, A country at war just because Mr. President said so, But it ain our war,the ones who started it are dead so, We let our emotions receive us so, Mad Im going to rip my possess head off, We think money is good, but it is a curse though, It can sometimes hurt you, Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies even closer, Keep your family in your inner circle, And think intelligent thoughts, Keep your emotions purple Colourful, just like my emotions, Forever,my ideas are constantly floati

Resolved Question: Hah, is this just more proof that Fox only cares about them ratings and winning a popularity contest?
Fox airs 2 year old interviews in order to promote Sarah Palin's show. Interviews for one she had NEVER done. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/20100331/ts_ynews/ynews_ts1387 The problem is that no such chitchat was produced for the Palin show. LL chilly J, star of "NCIS: Los Angeles," tweeted Tuesday night: "Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW." Update: Looks like the confusion isn't limited to the hip hop genre. Toby Keith's publicist tells the New York Times that Keith has never done an interview with Palin and she had no idea he was being used in the Palin special. She believes that Fox will be recycling an interview Keith gave Fox in 2009.
