Resolved Question: I had this weird Dream(tsunami)?
I had a dream that in my friends home we threw up a party. And 3 girls that i know wanted to have sex with me on this party, and i had to pick which one should i do it with. Then when i opened this door in my dream i end up in Disney World,Florida. Then im walking around the park and i look Micky Mouse and then i kept on walking, Then i end up in the Brooklyn's bridge of NEw York City, and i look at the ocean and i look a big tsunami coming and it was really big, Then i kept run trying to make it trough the bridge to go to New York City, people are yelling "Tsunami look!" So i finished crossing the bridge then im in New york City, then tsunamis hits, then every i look is everything being hit by the tsunami even me. So the tsunami stops and then i go to this restaurant from New York, then i receive out. Then i walking in the streets and i look this newspaper stan i receive into an argument with the guy who owns it because i stick the middle finger at this news article i didn't like "hip hop masonic" then i cease dreaming.

Resolved Question: My boyfriend and I have almost nothing in common...?
He grew up extremely wealthy (and acts as such) -- I grew up middle class and spend as such -Due to his upbringing, he likes the finer things (opera, plays, fine dining, spending money, etc.) -I like quick food, cheap movies (REDBOX!), and going to hip hop clubs. -He despises everything urban and I identify as such. -He is 'gayer' than I am. I still like both girls and guys. -We have totally different political views. The pros are that we both adore each other, don't identify with mainstream 'gays' and gay culture, and like the same movies and videogames. We have a terrible sex life and it seems the odds are against us. I've never expected to fall in adore with a guy and am not yet 'out'. I still wonder if there is a girl out there for me. I've told him every doubt I've ever had. This is not news to him. He thinks that this will every go away eventually. I realize that I am being greedy if I have doubts but I wonder if this is just normal considering that I have never been in a gay relationship and haven't even arrive out of the closet. I guess I am just looking for advice.

My essay for college has to be in the defense of hip-hop, not against it, so not to worry. I'm just wondering, which celebrities (or politicians) and/or internet news, or internet bloggers have you arrive across that have had negative things to say against hip-hop? I have to have a source about someone mentioning hip-hop culture negatively so I can cite it in my works cited page. So.. no mad flaming & cussing in the source. Anything on the negative lyrics from certain rap music, to someone's opinion against it. Websites where you found it. Names of celebrities & what the celebrities said. Answerers with sources stand better chance for five star best answer.

Voting Question: Why are Americans brainwashed to believe that black youth listens to rap and hip-hop the most?
It's physically impossible. Black people only make up 12 percent of the United States. If blacks were the only buyers of rap and hip-hop, the music industry would crumble. Believe it or not, I heard on the news that white suburban kids purchase the most rap and hip-hop music than any other group in the US. It makes sense. First of every, they outnumber black youth by a sh/tload. Secondly, they can afford to buy them on their expensive I-pods and Mp3 players. Without them, mainstream rappers like soulja-boy wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Blacks are always blamed for rap music being too violent or materialistic but the music industry has to appeal to its consumers. If that's what sells, then that's the only thing put out on the market. Personally, I can't stand the rap and hip hop nowadays. It's so mainstream and every of it seems like crap to me. Some of these comments are interesting. I enjoyed reading them, but don't forget to answer the question! Only two or three people have attempted so far.

Resolved Question: will TV soon be a thing of the past?
If the Internet takes over TV , I wouldn't give a damn. TV sucks these days anyway. It's not worth spending $200 a month for 300 + worthless channels. It's a SCAM ! I wish TV dies soon. It's no good anymore. It's every reality shows and informercials. 99 % of the stuff on TV is trash. I don't care about Cops , Jerry Springer , Hip-Hop videos, court shows , depressing news , retarded Hannah Montana crap on Disney , every of those sport channels , Mexican channels , music channels. I don't even bother watching TV anymore. I watch DVD's most of the time. I can't wait for TV to become a thing of the past. On the radio yesterday , I heard in the future , we will be able to watch anything we want at anytime on a computer. Many people I know watch tv shows on the Internet and pay $1 a episode.

Resolved Question: I need a dream interpretation tho i doubt anyone will answer all of this (REALLY LONG)?
Dream 1. I was searching for a photo camera, in an old store, it had shelves, and they contained a bunch of old papers and books, they were bursting, they were very messy too, then an elderly lady (she was the sales girl) had a piece of cardboard on the table which said ( $5 and $10) and i was asking her how much a pink camera was, and she said it was $5, i was in this store with my pal btw. The old lady, had a neat bun and she was wearing a loose green shirt, and brown linen pants, she had wrinkled skin but she looked really nice, then I chose the pink camera, and i payed her the money, and just as we were about to leave this young lady jumped inside screaming wildly, and she started attacking the needy old lady, the old lady started beating her with a stick. then the dream stopped and i woke up. Dream 2. I found myself in a nightclub and everything was dark and the club was very crowded, i was dressed in a very tarty outfit. a Male placed his hand on my lower back and he was smiling at me. There was an absolute darkness in there, and alot of noise and people, Green lazers too. Then i found myself in a Jeep, in the backseat, talking to Ciara (the hip hop artist) and she was dressed in black and a blue tie. she looked relaxed and she was smiling at me. then suddently i found myself in a party where everybody was dressed in red, the people where every brunettes dancing in red short dresses they looked glad also. Dream 3. I was at home with my eldest sister, The home seemed quite and peaceful, the balconies were closed, then suddently i open the balcony and sunlight comes through, i stand in the balcony admiring the sun and right next to me there was a window and i saw a big pig coming out of it. it wasnt flying or anything it was just there, half outside and half inside. it looked ugly. then i closed the balcony and my sister opened it, i kept closing and she kept opening, but i was disgusted because whenever i open it i look the pig. Dream 4. I was chatting on my computer, outside the sun was setting, then i look over my shoulder and i look the curtain (on it) where 5 scorpions, they weren't big or anything but they looked horrible. i got scared and tried to shake them off the curtain, but no use.. then i went out into the other balcony and i saw a black spider with very long legs and a red head coming towards me, walking sideways, i started panicking, then suddently i find myself in an empty room, every white and i start to choke and i cough up blood. Dream 5. The sun was setting, and i was sitting in a limosine with a swedish girl, i was talking in swedish too (i dont remember what i said) the girl had blonde haiir and she looked incredibly young, then the sky turned into a cobalt blue, and there were alot of stars in the sky. back at home my mum was dressed in a purple dress and she was barefoot sitting in the balcony, she told me to leave before its 8 o'clock. then me and the swedish girl, we left in a limosine, but this time there were 2 guys with her. Dream 6. i walked into a bar, walked down a few steps and i look this guy i dated a couple of times, he smiles at me and tells me he has cancer, he tells me this news and he is not bothered by it at every, infact he was smiling. then i went off to a bathroom, it was big and white, and this blonde lady with curls and a black coat came in and told me, forget the past you don't need it, and she tore a black and white photograph and she flushed it down the toilet. then she gave me an apple. Dream 7. i was on the bus with 2 men, next to my home one of them was wearing a thick red framed glasses, the other one i do not remember his face. as the bus was moving i was screaming HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME, i was more crying them than actually screaming them with rage or anger, i felt helpless. Dream 8. Me and my mom were in the middle of nowehere. with only 1 store in sight. my mom decided to buy food, she comes out with a brown bag.. We both steer off and arrive close a deserted haunted home, i felt an extreme sense of fearmy heart was pouding in my ears, i start begging my mom not to go in there, but she doesnt hear to me, i keep begging her, i say please around a 50 times.. but for nothing, coz she went in, then i heard a scream, i tried to peer thro the window but no use, the piece of iron that was below my feet collapsed and i fell in a hole. this dream scared me so much i spent my whole day in a horrible mood. Dream 9. im walking in a forest with a guy, he had a tanned skin.. then suddently in the sticky soil i look a bright yellow really long and thick cobra moving around. it didnt hurt us or anything, the guy smiles at me. Dream 10. me and my mom were in an aeroplane and my mom was barefoot and the sun was setting.. Dream 11. i was talking to a guy with long hair, round glasses and he kissed me, then i was in my mom's bedroom and it was in total darkness, the bedsheets were green and my sister was lying

Right there is this boy i like sick call him john right so i really like john my pal thinks he likes me too!! but last night there was a disco and this is the first on of the year(for youth club a place to hangout) a youth club disco and he is like a professional dancer hes always in the news paper and stuff so last night my pal was talking to his pal and John said something to me i dont know it was to noisy so i just smiled and a minute later he kinda just like started dancing to me but i was to nervous and i stood there and smiled looking awkward and the bus ride back to where we came from he was just staring at me and i was next to my pal and she kept saying hes staring at u look look i was like no no!! okay youth club is a place you go every friday but its of during summer holidays for school and the first disco of the year was yesterday its on once a month just saying incase u dont know what it is.... what should i do oh and im 14 when i say hes a pro at dancing hes been doing hip hop every his life and i didnt want to mess up if i danced with him thanks!!

Now I know this appears to have little to do with Hip Hop, but it reminds me of a conversation I recently had with someone about hip hop lingo making it's way into mainstream. The person I was talking to said that it bothers them because it deligitimizes hip hop, but I feel quite the opposite. The mere fact that something like "Off the Dome" came out of a newscasters mouth acutally gives legitimacy to hip hop music and the overall culture. What do you think? Does it bother you when you hear hip hop lingo used in mainstream, popular culture? Do you think it makes it more acceptable? Anything else?

Resolved Question: Tiger Woods or Kanye West? Who is more ashamed and an embarrassment?
This year of 2009 before we move to 2010, we have 2 celebrities who are somewhat of an embarrassment to themselves and to the fans, in my opinion. (1) Tiger Woods whose been a positive role model for everyone and for golf, has numerous endorsements including Gatorade- has been exposed in having multiple affairs behind his wife's back and has been a big punchline for tardy night comedian shows like Jay Leno and has been splattered every over the news tabloids. There are now at least 12 mistresses, several endorsements have dropped him, his wife, Elin has left him and moving back to Sweden, Tiger now is close himself up away from the public and eating cereal and worse, Tiger has to pay child support, alimony totaling millions. Tiger will receive hit worse in the wallet. (2) Kanye West is a multi-platinum selling hip-hop artist, won several grammy awards and legion of fans. Now he's being booed and blasted by people and celebrities for that stunt at the MTV VMAs for interrupting Taylor Swift's speech in winning the best female music video. He's also a punchline for tardy night shows and SNL. Celebrities blast Kanye on Twitter, Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters even called him a douche and even President Obama called Kanye a jack a**. Now I heard he's hiding in India for a while. So whose should feel more ashamed???

Resolved Question: What are people gonna remember this past era from 2000-2010 for?
Like the 1950s are remembered fro rocknroll, bluejeans cuffed at ankles, black converse shoes, tucked in button down shirts, or tucked in white t's. hair slicked back. Girls with the long dresses with that dog logo on them, and the kids hanging at diners. the 60s were similar, but they dressed different, guys wore alot of shirts buttoned down un tucked, with bellbottom jeans, and they every had long hair, and some with beards. Girls had the big hair, others had really really long hair.And the 60s were basically known for hippies, peace, vietnam. And marijuana became introduced to many, and every the other drugs. Woodstock, was also a big part of 60s, and some of the greatest music we have ever heard, like jimie hendrix, british invasion-with the beatles, clapton, the who, rolling stones ect. 70s were every about disco, more laid back music led zepplin, kiss the styles were disco platform shoes, the bellbottoms, guys wore short shorts, and still the bellbottoms, the afro was popular, white guys had the signature 70s hair cuts, not that long like 60s, but they had kinda like bowl cuts. And cars were a big obsesion. 80s- the 80s had there possess distinct music style, hewie louis and the news, the eagles, metallica, guys had mullets, or longer hair styles spikes too. wore straight fit tighter jeans with the wierdest colors, every faded, and loved lether jackets, and jean jackets. Girls had the high hair, same colors in jeans, but a very different hair style that the 60s 70s 50s never had. Back to the future, and other sci-fi movies very popular, or even quantum jump ,And many situation comedy shows like full home, Alf, cheers, knightrider ect. BUt the automobiles of the 80s were bad qualitys and didnt have much style compared to 60s 70s. I mean really, the minivan being introduced to the world, station wagins popular, and cars just rusted easily.Also the famous hig five. 90s- the 90s had similar things to 80s, the fanny packs were popular, guys had had similar styles but changed the hair slightly had the middle part, the slick back, the mushroom clip, bowl cuts. Many girls dropped the hair back down a little and the man clip became popluar alot of girls with short hair, and alot of pony tails. And hip-hop gets introduced and becomes very popular, along with the post-grundge rock music. The 90s had a different home setting too, with the home entertainment middle, and tv. A lot of adult cartoons also are introduced, simpsons, family guy well it was '99, southpark, king of the hill.Plus internet. 2000-2009?? what do you think we will remember this era for also whats it called the 2000s? Maybe baggy pants? flatbrim capps, darker colored jeans, or torn jeans, faded out. DC shoes, basketball shoes. A lot of reality game shows, like survivor, biggest loser, american idol, bachelor. What else will the 2000s be remembered for? ?

Resolved Question: Mot overrated rapper out of...?
Eminem Jay Z Tupac Immortal Technique Wale Eminem, the amount of people I have seen put him as GOAT is crazy. Seriously, he's good, but not the GOAT, probably not even top 10. The reason being, he is not the best in any category, on an emotional level Blu's music is better, I have never heard Em kill Royce on a beat and on D12 albums Proof always shined more for me it's crazy that people put him number one. Jay Z, same as with Em. For differant reason. Lyrically he falls down, subject matter he falls down. He has good production and an image so people put him top 5. Pac, I just think people put him in their top 3 because they think they're supposed to. Lyrically he falls down, half the songs on his good albums are average and his best songs are just songs that have some message, but the message isn't even delivered that cleverly. Immortal Technique. People act like he is the only political rapper out there and like his stories are untouchable. His flow = terrible. Lyrics=average. Yea he's political, but anybody can do that with a dictionary, news website and wikipedia. Wale, probably the least necasary on this list. But I've heard people act like he's going to be the saviour of hip hop. Like he's the best new artist of the last 15 years. When really he's just another rapper. I like him, I just don't think he's amazing. BQ Any other rappers that people just hear are good and toss in their top 10 without listening to them?
